Savannah's Super Museum Sunday

Are you in or around Savannah this weekend? Then you’re in luck! This Sunday, February 5^th, over 40 Museums are open for free throughout the city (and all over Georgia!) as the state celebrates the Georgia History Festival’s Super Museum Sunday.

Old favourites such as the Owens Thomas House, the Andrew Low House, the Jepson Center, the SCAD Museum of Art, the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences and historical landmarks such as Fort Pulaski, Old Fort Jackson, the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace, the Massie Heritage Center and many more will be welcoming visitors free of charge on Sunday, from noon until 4pm.

Whether you wish to experience a taste of the Old South, seek a more active experience, are travelling with children or prefer something more contemporary, there is an offer waiting just for you.

If you have been to Savannah before, this is your chance to visit your favourite historical spot or discover a new one. And if you’re new to this charming city, the Super Museum Sunday offers you a great headstart for discovering some of the best of what that Savannah has to offer.

No pre-registration is required. Be sure to book accommodation in advance, and don’t forget to bring your camera! Savannah in Spring is one of the mos photogenic cities in the south.

¡Súper Domingo de Museos en Savannah!　

¿Están en o cerca de Savannah este fin de semana? ¡Pues están de suerte! Este Domingo 5 de Febrero, más de 40 museos y lugares históricos estarán abiertos de forma gratuita en la ciudad (¡y através de toda Georgia!), en celebración del Festival Histórico de Georgia Super Domingo de Museos.

Viejos favoritos tales como la casa Owen Thomas, la casa Andrew Low, el Jepson Center, el Museo de Arte de SCAD, la Academia Telfair de Artes y Ciencias y lugares históricos como el Fuerte Pulaski, el Viejo Fuerte Jackson, el lugar de nacimiento de Juliette Gordon Low (fundadora de las chicas exploradoras), el Centro de Herencia Massie y muchos otros, recibirán visitates de forma gratuita este Domingo, desde el mediodía hasta las 4pm.

Bien si desean experimentar el Viejo Sur, buscan una experiencia más activa, viajan con nios o prefieren algo más contemporáneo, hay una oferta especialmente para ustedes esperándolos.

Si ya han estado en Savannah, ésta es su oportunidad de visitar su sitio histórico favorito, o descubrir uno nuevo. Y si son nuevos a esta encantadora ciudad el Super Domingo de Museos les ofrece un excelente abreboca para descubrir mucho de lo mejor que Savannah tiene para ofrecer.
